A Bao was born in Atlanta on November 3, 2010, and was originally named Po after the lead character in the film Kung Fu Panda. After returning to Chengdu in 2014, she was also known as A Bao or Bao Lan. In 2019, she gave birth for the first time and successfully raised a male-female pair of twins, becoming the first of Lun Lun and Yang Yang’s seven offspring to raise cubs herself.
