After moving from Wolong to Guangzhou in 2008, Youyou spent many years at Chimelong. Before the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, Youyou also joined several other giant pandas in an “Asian Games panda squad,” becoming part of the city’s sporting memory from that period. Youyou was born on August 16, 2005, and is the son of Leilei.
