Among the twin sisters at Beauval, Yuandudu has consistently been the quieter one. Yuandudu and older sister Huanlili were born in France on August 2, 2021. The “Yuan” in the name comes from father Yuan Zi; together, the sisters’ names express wishes for healthy growth and also symbolize the connection between China and France. Years of observations at Beauval have continued to describe Yuandudu as quieter, steadier and more cautious than the older sister.
