As a cub, older brother Zhishi was recorded as a quick learner with abundant energy; as he grew, staff continued to describe his temperament as steady. Zhishi and younger twin brother Zhima were born on April 24, 2017, the first twin litter of their mother Zhizhi. A tuft of fur under Zhishi’s chin that resembles a little beard is also an easy way to tell the brothers apart.
