Aili

艾莉

Life status: Living
Born: July 24, 2011

Aili’s birth followed an unusual breeding story. In 2011, after 19-year-old Lili did not mate successfully through natural breeding, she was artificially inseminated with semen from Qiubang, who had returned to China from overseas, and gave birth to Aili on July 24. As an adult, Aili became a mother herself, giving birth to twins Aimi and Ailun in 2018. In 2020, she delivered a female cub weighing 219 grams at birth, then the heaviest newborn cub recorded at the Chengdu base.
