Jixian is the younger male in Jili's 2025 male-female twin pair, born with his older sister Jicheng on June 23 at the Starlight Nursery of the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. As a cub, the fur on his ears, limbs, and eye patches also changed gradually from gray to black, continuing the distinctive “little gray” family trait in Jili's line.
