Qingqing

庆庆

Life status: Living
Born: June 23, 2019

A round face, rounded build and a fondness for joining the action are traits Chongqing Zoo has consistently used to describe Qingqing over the years. Qingqing and Xixi were born to Mangzai on June 23, 2019. On the same day, Lanxiang also gave birth to twin cubs. The four cubs—Shuangshuang, Zhongzhong, Xixi and Qingqing—were collectively dubbed “Shuangchong Xiqing,” marking the first time in nearly 60 years of captive giant panda history at Chongqing Zoo that two mothers each gave birth to twins on the same day.
