When Ruirui became a mother for the first time, she cared not only for her own daughter, Zirui, but also for a foster cub placed in her care. CCTV footage documented her raising the two cubs together as they learned to climb trees and forage. Caring for two young cubs at once became one of the most distinctive chapters of her early motherhood.
