Shuiling was born on August 24, 2007, in the same litter as Qingfeng. In 2009, the twins were selected among six “National Day pandas” sent to Beijing for the exhibition marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Shuiling died in Beijing on July 5, 2010, before reaching the age of three.
