Fuhu shares a coincidence with his older brother Fulong: he was born on August 23, 2010, exactly on Fulong's third birthday. As a cub, Fuhu especially enjoyed climbing and often made his way to high places. His black shoulder band also had a pronounced sawtooth edge, giving zoo staff another easy way to recognize him.
