Born

Yingxue grew up on a path toward rewilding from birth. Under mother Sixue’s guidance, Yingxue completed two years of rewilding training and gradually learned to forage independently, find water and avoid danger. On November 23, 2017, Yingxue was released into Sichuan’s Liziping National Nature Reserve together with Baxi, as part of what was then the world’s second operation to release two giant pandas into the wild at the same time.
