In 2003, she naturally nursed both twin cubs, Longbang and Qiubang, in captivity and successfully raised them both; Adventure World, citing international giant panda studbook records, documented this as the world’s first such case. Between 2001 and 2006, Meimei and Yongming produced eight cubs in four litters, six of which survived.
