Born

Ming Bang weighed just 84 grams at birth, making him the lightest giant panda cub born at Shirahama at the time. Because he was much smaller than his twin sister Ai Bang, the Chinese and Japanese teams used an alternating twin-care approach so Ming Bang could receive enough milk from their mother and grow steadily. Adventure World later described him as calm and affectionate; when relaxing, he often looked up at the sky.
