Of Adventure World’s first pair of female giant panda twins, Tao Bang was the more curious and lively sister. The park recorded that her ears were smaller than Ying Bang’s and her face more triangular. Her name evokes the peach blossom, a flower introduced to Japan from China, and carries wishes that she be well loved and have a peaceful, flourishing family. In 2023, Tao Bang returned to China with Ying Bang and their father, Yong Ming.

Tao Bang was born at Adventure World on December 2, 2014, with her twin sister Ying Bang. Together, they were the first pair of female giant panda twins born at the park; Tao Bang was the younger twin.

After a public naming campaign, she was formally given the name Tao Bang on February 6, 2015.

Returned to China with Yong Ming and Ying Bang
Tao Bang left Kansai International Airport with her father Yong Ming and twin sister Ying Bang on February 22, 2023, and arrived at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport that evening. They subsequently entered quarantine at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.
