In 2018, when her companion Chengjiu became critically ill and severely anemic, Shuanghao proved compatible in blood typing. Blood was collected from her without anesthesia and used for an emergency transfusion for Chengjiu. That unusual rescue effort remains one of the clearest documented episodes in Shuanghao’s life.
