Qianqian

茜茜

Life status: Living
Born: 2013-08-14

Qianqian's name comes from a coincidence of timing. She was born on August 14, 2013, at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, to mother Qinghe and father Xiongbang. Because the day before her birth was that year's Qixi Festival, her keepers chose “Qianqian,” a near-homophone of “Xixi,” as her name.
