Shuangxi and her older twin sister Shuangxin were born in 2011. Unlike the white tuft on her sister’s head, Shuangxi has long had two noticeable small black spots on the bridge of her nose, one of the easiest ways to tell the sisters apart. They also spent two years living together at Shanghai Zoo.
