From an early age, Meixin was recorded as lively and active, especially enthusiastic about food, and often eager to play with twin sister Meiqie. In 2008, Meixin was selected by public vote as one of eight “Olympic pandas” and spent the Beijing Olympic period on display at Beijing Zoo.
