The names Sihai and Yijia gave one of Yaoman’s breeding stories a particularly memorable public meaning. Yaoman was born with younger twin sister Yaoxin on September 27, 2009. In 2019, Yaoman gave birth to mixed-sex twins Sihai and Yijia. The cubs were later named during the “One Family Across the Four Seas · Sichuan and Hong Kong Together” youth exchange program, reflecting the connection between Sichuan and Hong Kong.
