Erxi is easy to recognize by his energetic, climbing-loving nature and relatively long nose. When he moved from Chengdu to Changsha in 2013, his accompanying keeper recorded that he was lively, liked staying in treetops, and had inherited his long nose from his father. A decade later, the Jinan care team was still designing taller, more challenging enrichment structures around his active and exploratory temperament.

Yashuang

Female

Yashuang and her older twin sister Yaxing were the last pair of twins born to Yaya in 2002. A keeper who cared for Yashuang over many years described her as reserved, steady and consistently well behaved. Compared with more active companions, she tended to stay quiet and often liked resting in trees.
