Yuner was born on May 20, 2017, with his twin sister Zhuangzhuang. His keeper described him as especially affectionate from an early age and very close to familiar caregivers. He was also highly enthusiastic about food: when he heard his caregiver call, he would often come running at once, sometimes in such a hurry that his four short legs seemed to be heading in different directions.

震生
Zhensheng, whose nickname is Kuankuan, has long had one enduring favorite activity: climbing trees. She also has a highly distinctive face. In 2024, an expert from the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda used her as an example while explaining giant panda face shapes, describing her outline as a “swimming-crab-shaped face” or a “bicycle-saddle-shaped face.”
